Primer Modelo de Simulación de Asamblea Parlamentaria en las Naciones Unidas (MUNPA)

During the month of September, 2021 the Civil Association “Democracia Global”, along with partner the organizations - “UMA”, “Democracy Without Borders”, “UNPA Campaign” and two Regional Academic Partners - Goa University and Sharda University, carried out the second Model of the Parliamentary Assembly of the United Nations (UNPA) in India on the theme Gender Equality. In view of the Covid pandemic situation, Second UNPA Model was organized virtually.​
ASPECTOS GENERALES
60 estudiantes de Ciencia Política y Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad de Belgrano participaron en el Primer Modelo UNPA.
Se llevaron a cabo dos encuentros donde el objetivo fue generar conciencia acerca de las problemáticas a nivel global y profundizar sobre el concepto de ciudadanía global.
DEBATE EN LAS COMISIONES PARLAMENTARIAS
Los participantes se dividieron en 4 comisiones: Economía y Finanzas, Preservación del Ecosistema, Educación para el Desarrollo sostenible y Justicia y Derechos Humanos. Cada uno presentó un proyecto sobre su temática correspondiente para luego debatir y votar el proyecto más urgente y factible.
DEBATE EN EL SENADO DE LA NACIÓN
La última instancia se llevó a cabo en el recito del Honorable Senado de la Nación Argentina donde se debatieron los 4 proyectos. Finalmente, la Asamblea sancionó con fuerza de ley el proyecto para la preservación de los bosques nativos (Comisión de Preservación del Ecosistema).
